Heart Failure VR | Patient Education

A virtual reality experience for Google Cardboard, where a friendly patient advocate guides the viewer through living with heart failure.

Set in her living room, which I modelled in Blender, props like home gym equipment, books, fruit and picture frames animate into the scene to illustrate each point. I created all the 3D models for the environment and props, textured many of them in Substance Painter, and animated them in Blender and Unity’s sequencer. The avatar was built in Character Creator and animated in iClone with motion capture data.

The scene was then optimised and set up in Unity for mobile VR.

Tools: Blender, Substance Painter, Character Creator, iClone, Unity.
